Happy 8th Birthday, Ringo!!

It's hard to believe, but Ringo is 8 years old today! He's still as playful as when he was a puppy, though. 

Today is my birfday, you will do whatever I say!

He makes a good pillow! (this, of course, took place after lizard was viciously attacked and Ringo was tired out :P)

Hello, Everyone!


This is Ringo. It has been a very, very long time since my bad momma posted any pictures of me. I apologize on her behalf. I have decided to take the matter into my own hands... er, paws, that is, and post some myself. So here they are, for your viewing pleasure:

Well, I must go and wait for grandma to give me a snack now! I hope everyone is having  a nice summer and staying cool. It has been so hot here, I can't even go out for sniffy expeditions or to chase squirrels! I am looking forward to fall...

Happy Birthday Ringo!!!!

Today my little man is 7 years old. It's hard to believe, he still acts like such a puppy! But it is true. For his birthday he got a special, warm new bed! I have been looking for a bed like this for him for ages, but there are certain requirements I had (it has to be washable, has to be made of cotton or bamboo, has to actually be long enough for Ringo to fit when he stretches out, etc), and no beds ever were quite right. But I got lucky and found this really nice organic cotton one, it's perfect! The only thing is, it only came in pink. But it's a pale pink, and Ringo doesn't care. He likes this bed almost as much as laying in my lap. Almost. But not quite. Still, he is really enjoying it, and it's so sweet to see ^_^ He also got the new bamboo mats/blankies, which you will see on his bed, they are really soft and nice. Oh, and also the little bamboo owl toy, you can see in some of the pics. So, Happy Birthday, my little angel puppy  And of course, here are some pics of Ringo:

No, I am not spoiled at all! Do you think I look handsome in my new bed?

This bed is nice and warm, I don't think I want to come out right now...

Gingerbread dachshunds playing outside their chocolate gingerbread house, surrounded by gingerbread pine trees and gumdrop bushes. They play with peppermint candies, and a gingerbread rabbit and squirrel. The path leading to the door of the house is made of bone-shaped dog biscuits. ^-^ 

This illustration was, of course, inspired by Ringo. One of my nicknames for his is the Gingerbread man. lol One day when I was calling him that, I thought how cute it would be if he really was a gingerbread man, and I got this idea shortly thereafter.

For some reason, Ringo really likes the ornaments on our Christmas tree, especially the dachshund ornaments! He's always going and nosing them and wagging his tail, it's really sweet. So this gave me the idea of having him pose under the tree with the dachshund ornaments and statues (it was partly my mom's idea too). ^-^

Anyways, I thought he looked so cute in a couple of the shots that I decided to add them to my stores. So these two cute pics of Ringo are now available on Cafe Press, Zazzle, Red Bubble and my deviantArt Print Shop.
