This is my interpretation of a Byzantine icon of Saint Michael the Archangel. He is the patron saint of police officers, the military, sailors, paramedics, grocers and many other vocations, places and causes (over 50, so I am not listing them all!). He is one of four archangels found in both Jewish and Christian scriptures.
