My interpretation of the icon of Jesus, also known as Christ the Pantocrator or Christ in Majesty.  It depicts Jesus holding the Gospels with his hand raised in blessing. I wanted this to look like it was enameled and had a lot of metal and gemstones on it ^-^ I've always liked this icon, so it was fun to draw.

New Illustration: Corn Maidens

This illustration was inspired by Zuni Corn Maiden fetish necklaces my mom got me from Southwest Indian Foundation. In my mind, the corn maidens in this picture are kind of like little angels, they bless the corn so that it will be good for whoever eats it. But they hide whenever people come near, so you usually can't see them ^-^

This is my latest illustration, and one of the busiest I've done to date. I'm very happy with it. I wanted to make it very colorful and bright and happy ^-^ And of course, I had to add some dachshunds to it! It seemed sort of empty without them.
